Description

This is the original comic art to Madame Xanadu #17, page 12: The Martian Manhunter, in his 1950's human form, appears to Madame Xanadu for the first time! It's pencilled by me, Amy Reeder, and inked by Richard Friend! I drew it on standard DC comic board and it measures approximately 11 x 17 inches.

Written by Matt Wagner and published through Vertigo, Madame Xanadu received four Eisner nominations in 2009: Best Writer, Best New Series, Best Penciller/Inker, and Best Cover Artist. This particular page is from the story arc "Broken House of Cards."
