Description

This is the cover to a Random House step into reading book for kids in grades 2-3 from 1997. Great to see that there teaching kids early about heroes like Hercules. The cover shows Hercules battling the Hydra and it also tells that saga inside the book. I'm sitting here laughing to myself as I type this in while the old cartoon song fills my head. "With the strength of ten, ordinary men, Hercules" Hmmm, now wheres that ring he used to put on? The size of this painting is 10.5x15. and a big thanks goes out to Roland Benton for letting this one go.

Fun stuff. Meanwhile, if you need a fix here's the link to the opening song sung by Johnny Nash, no less.

I also loved the old Steve Reeve Hercules movies.
