DescriptionThe confession of Rackman from ‘The Smile of a Skeleton’, fifth episode of Bad Company II: The Krool Heart. Stretched across a chasm on the planet of the Krool Heart, Rackman finally admits his biggest secret – that he was never physically tortured by the Krool at all, and was instead made into the torturer! Rackman now faces a grotesque punishment for his sins. This is a brilliant twist on the character which throws everything else he’s said into doubt. For instance, Rackman claimed that Krool had him prick himself with a spiked roulette wheel every day, with a 50% chance of death by poisoned spike. So is this actually true, or was he the one administering the wheel of pain to others? In which case were his attempts to get Danny and De Racine to use the wheel not actually anything to do with his belief in fate at all, but simply Rackman subtly torturing both?Thanks to David Rees for alerting to me to the sale of this page (and Wakefield Carter for selling on behalf of the great man, Mr. Brett Ewins.)
