Description

One of the great things about commissioning art is that it presents the opportunity to pair a great penciler and a great inker together. There's never been a comic published featuring pencils by the awesome Arvell Jones and the incredible inks of Bob Almond, but that's exactly what this piece of art features.

Bob may be best known as the frequent inker of and collaborator with the incomparable Sal Velluto, but his inks give polish to virtually any penciler that comes his way. Arvell did a bang-up job on the pencils, but Bob took it to the next level. Its why I dubbed him The Ink King.

You can commission Bob at comicarthouse.com. You can also visit his own website at almondink.com. Go ahead, take whatever piece of penciled comic art in your collection in need of a great ink job and send it to Bob. Guarantee you'll be glad you did.

A beautiful piece, my friend!! I don't think enough is said about how important a penciller-inker combo is to bring out the best in a penciller's work. Great choice of pairing these two talents!!
