Tales Of Suspense #94 Pg.6
I was never a big fan of "Daredevil," so I didn't grow up with an ingrained appreciation of Gene Colan's art. That has definitely changed.

A true 'Marvel twice-up' page, its enormous. The fluid inks (qv. the shattering branch) are positively vivid in person. Still can't figure out why his arm is bent, if he's in 8 tons of armor, and the less said about his er, titanium skirt, the better.... Love that Silver Age dialogue!

This beutiful piece was bought with my 2002 tax return, and is courtesy of Heritage Auctions and Revenue Canada. Unbelievably, it sold for $1,000 less than projected - I am NOT complaining!
