Description

Mark Texeira inked all the villains in this story while Mark Beachum inked the women.
The book was 64 pages of pencils & inks and came out the same month as the 1st Venom
series [january-1993], so nobody saw it...I mean nobody. I loved Spider-man 1-37 and the first two annuals..this story was a complete labor of love..but boy, oh boy was I scared to draw this book. To this day it's Ditko's Spider-man and then...everyone else................

I just love the texture of the inks on this page. My dream is to one day commission a JLA/Avengers theme piece with inks like this. awesome job. Kirk.

this is for all the guys who are pros here,or those aspiring, i met mike in 1993,i was 18 and couldn't draw worth a damn. mike had this in his portfolio,it was the first piece in it. right then and there i KNEW i was going to do comic books. here i am,over 10 years later and a published pro,mike has inked me three times over the years,two covers and one pin-up. THIS piece is the piece that started me on the artistic path. thanks for such a great gift mike,my passion for art.

The first thing i read from Mike was this crossover!! Highly and insanely detailed work!! Beautiful artpiece i would like to see monthly, on Punisher for example or the upcoming MoonKnight series!! Keep up the good work, Mike!!! Thanks for all!
