Marvel Team-Up 053, page 23 (Volume 1)

From Byrne's first work on the X-Men. While this page 'only' has Banshee featured, it was my first introduction to Chuck Costas way back in 1997 as I purchased this page from him at this comic book convention where John Byrne used to be the featured guest. How do I remember this event? I had attended the U2 concert in Atlanta, GA two days previous prior to Thanksgiving and then drove to Columbus. We met at the Mid-Ohio Con when I went to Columbus to assist a friend with his dealer's table. While I have lost contact with that dealer, I have stayed in touch with Chuck. His Cherry Blossom get-togethers each Spring in Washington, DC are truly a great event for comic art collectors.
