Double WOW! I see a very faded version of this everyday. As a kid, mounted the puzzle version to a board and have had it hanging somewhere in every place I have lived since 1983. Thanks for posting this blast of nostalgia!

Incredible. I'm not a huge Ken Kelly fan, but he knocked it out of the park on this one. I fondly remember this cover as well. Very powerful design, concept, execution, pun intended. The story was powerful as well. A great piece of art!

I remember this image as a teen in the 80's. I had a t-shirt with this image on it; everyone liked it, they thought it was cool!

Saw this cover while i was in Japan. Loved it! Had an artist recreate this, he would do anything you gave him. Still have it, oils on silk. Even have it as my background on my cell phone. Had this done around 1974 or 75.
