Finally got it framed!

"The Third Skull" - 1935 - Original Shadow Pulp Painting

21" x 30" Excellent Condition

HISTORICAL INFORMATION:

This optical illusion of a skull that figured in the story was long remembered by those who saw it on the newsstands.

In World War II the original was sent to a U.S. Air Force crew who wanted it as a name for their bomber.

Yeah, a little bit of procrastination! Trying to decide of the type of frame is tough, but I chose the same one that I used on "The Creeping Death" The frame is museum quality, about 4" wide and 4" deep of solid wood. I frame them all this way, but it gets expensive at $900.00 apiece (too darn much!). Thanks again for the compliment, it is very much appreciated! Dwight

That piece is totally out of control. Did you know a World War Two Bomber had that very image painted on it? Great piece. Nice Pickup.
