Win Mortimer Superman Daily 3-6-1953

There was a point in the 1950's where Win Mortimer was simply the most prolific artist in DC's stable. He did the covers for Superman, Action, Adventure, Batman, Detective and World's Finest, among many others, as well as worked on interior stories. In many ways, he was like Neal Adams in the 60's and Ed Benes today. Their covers sell books, and it is everywhere.

Here is another daily by the great Win Mortimer from 1953 where a computer tries to guess Superman's secret identity.

In 1950 Mortimer took over the Superman daily strip from Wayne Boring and did that until 1957. Sadly, very little of that material has ever been reprinted so all we get to see are odds and ends dailies. DC should really reprint this art!
