Venom by Davide Gianfelice

A fantastic gift by my friend Davide who drew this to thank me for taking care of him & his girlfriend during their stay in Belgium for the 2010 edition of the Andenne festival. A very menacing and monstrous Venom which is a nice departure from the more realistic work David usually provides for Vertigo. I think his scratchy style lent itself perfectly to the character resulting in a rendition full of life. Makes me think of Adam Kubert's version of the character. Again, thanks Davide for being so friendly :)
