Clarke produces gorgeous work and did so with this wraparound One Minute Later but......it is an exercise in frustration to deal with him and required assistance from a comic professional to actually get the piece and calls and calls and calls to Clarke's home. I would not pay him in advance but he does very nice work so if you have patience and keep your money in your wallet, you will be rewarded.

Bob Almond, who inked this piece, on the other hand is a JOY to work with. Responsive to a fault, great communicator and just a total professional. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Bob.

The amazing thing is that sometimes, the OML exceeds the original. This Hawbaker/Almond piece is right in that tradition.

Just stumbled across this , and those are some of the slickest blacks to grace a page! Bob did a spectacular job on this. Sorry to hear about the trials and tribulations on getting the pencils though.

Ben, Hawbaker is very hard to find and very hard to get to actually finish the piece -- great artist but one tough get in all ways
