Uatu the Watcher by Nick Bertozzi

Nick Bertozzi and Jason Little were doing an in-store signing promoting their Lewis & Clark and Motel Art Improvement Service books respectively at Big Planet Comics in Bethesda, MD. I bought copies of both books, and had Nick sign all issues in both Strange Tales I and II that Marvel recently released, featuring small press/indie comic creators. While time didn't permit me to ask Jason to do a sketch in my sketchbook (he did do one in the front cover of the book I bought!), I got Nick to do this awesome Uatu the Watcher sketch, which was funny because he had pointed out during the signing that he has been published in Marvel drawing all of their big-head characters (M.O.D.O.K., The Watcher...). And he snagged some of Jason's colored pencils to do a little color work on top. Great sketch!
