Rich Koslowski is an eclectic author, which had an style that has mutated in multiple projects and has several recommended works: Three Fingers, The King... I don´t consider him a comic genius, but an excellent craftsman. I think there are times when we all like to see in the cinema an entertaining B-movie instead of a solemn masterpiece. Well, in that sense, Koslowski has several B-graphic novels really interesting.

The King is a work –not a biography- that revolves around the greatest musical phenomenon of the twentieth century (with the permission of the Beatles): Elvis Presley. Published by TopShelfComix, it remains unknown in the Spanish market.
This original, with one full-page drawing, drawn and inked by Koslowski was one of the first original I bought it and maybe that's why I have a special affection to it.

Rich Koslowski es un autor ecléctico que a lo largo de su carrera ha mutado de estilo en el desarrollo de distintos proyectos y que cuenta con varias obras recomendables: Three Fingers, The King... No lo considero un genio del cómic, pero sí un excelente artesano. Creo que hay ocasiones en que a todos nos apetece ver en el cine una entretenida película de serie B en lugar de una solemne obra maestra. Pues en ese sentido, Koslowski tiene varias series B realmente interesantes.

The King es una novela gráfica que, sin ser una biografía al uso, gira en torno al mayor fenómeno musical del siglo XX (con permiso de los Beatles): Elvis Presley. Publicada en el mundo anglosajón por TopSelfComix, The King permanece inédita en el mercado español. Este original, con una única viñeta a toda página, dibujada y entintada por el propio Koslowski fue uno de los primeros originales que compré y quizás por eso le tengo un cariño especial.
