Description
I got this from Tony at Heroes Con 2010. It is my first piece of Interior Art I have ever bought. The interesting thing about this piece is that at the bottom Mitchell is shown revealing a giant cog. In the published issue he is wearing a white shirt. I was able to ask Tony about why this was, he told me that apparently Brian K Vaughn didn't think Mitchell should be walking around with the costume under his shirt. Oh well.

that seems kinda silly to take out the cog. I guess I'm of the opinion that I wouldn't take that frame as realism but more as foreshadowing. I suppose the iconic-ness of the superman tearing his shirt open does foreshadow. I think comics should bend reality like that and mix things in pages just to inform the viewer rather than be realistic. But what do I know? Just started collecting this series in the volumes. Totally dig it and it's made me a Tony Harris fan for life!
