Description

I've long loved Henrik Drescher's work, first being exposed to it in the New York Times Book Review in the early 1980s. I wrote to Henrik in 1983, and received this wonderful ink & metallic marker drawing from him. He has something of a reputation of a joker, and the drawing (done on graph paper) was folded up to about the size of a postage stamp!

I later met Henrik at a book signing, and he graciously adorned two of his children's book with drawings for me. He remains one of the most unique talents working in the illustration world today.
