Description
This commission was a commission by artist Andrew Wildman. He doesn't attend many conventions outside of the UK where he lives and rarely takes on commissions. So needless to say I was very happy to get this from him! Andrew mailed it to CGC for me to be graded as a Signature Series book and received a grade of 9.8/10.

For those of you haven't heard of him he is popular for his long runs on both the USA & UK versions of Transformers & GI Joe comics. This is of course when they were both still Marvel properties and very popular. In the USA he was the final artist to work on Transformers which was cancelled out of no where and rebooted as Transformers Generation 2. Marvel offered him the penciling job on TF Generation 2 but he turned it down. Wildman also drew the first Black Cat solo comic in 1994. This was a four issue mini-series titled "Felicia Hardy: The Black Cat". In 1994 he did a 6 issue mini series for Spiderman titled "The Arachnis Project" along with good runs on Spiderman 2099 and X-Men Adventures. In 2012 the original Marvel Transformers G1 series was rebooted by IDW as Transformers ReGeneration with Wildman penciling and Furman writing the series again.

I wanted to get a commission that touched on parts of his great career with Marvel. I thought an Amazing Spider-man blank cover comic would look great with a sexy image of Black Cat getting undressed wearing her Spidey crime fighting undies. For the back I thought a re-imagined Transformers #3 cover of Megatron vs Spider-man [original cover below] would look awesome.

In 2012 I had the front of the comic signed by Dan Slott who wrote ASM #648. Dan has written 70 issues of Amazing Spiderman including his death in issue #700.
