DescriptionIt’s finally in my hands, it was a long, long wait but worth every minute.J. Scott was nice enough to agree to do a commission for me a few years back. I told him to take his time because I was in no rush to get it and I would rather he work at his pace and give me a great piece then rush to get it done. I wasn’t able to go to any conventions last year so I couldn’t pick it up at any of the shows. He was ok with shipping it to me but his busy schedule made it difficult to get it shipped. A year to the day that he emailed me it was finished it is finally here. Once he agreed to do a piece for me, the incredibly difficult decision of what to get came. I’ve always liked his interpretations of well-known people and being a Sin City and Jessica Alba fan I asked him for Jessica as Nancy Callahan only the way it should have been done in the movie. Even though some think pencils are unfinished I really like his pencil work so I asked for it to be done in rendered pencil. The addition of the ink made the piece look even better. I also really like the detail in the belt. Anyway, here’s the end result. Needless to say I’m extremely happy with it and it was well worth the wait. Enjoy Social/Sharing |

This is incredible! JSC really did some amazing work on this beauty! You are very lucky, and there is nothing unfinished looking about his pencils. Especially here with your choice character. (nice choice btw:) Huge Congrats on this score!

I love how JSC used the swirl of the lasso to draw your eyes from top to bottom. Worth the wait. Cheers! N.
