BRIAN JONES RULES!
So, this description had to start out like that because I wouldn't have this piece if it wasn't for the awesomeness of Mr. Jones and his willingness to get a piece for me at the Pittsburgh show. The people I've met and the friendships I've made in this hobby rivals the actual art I get. Those are the two main things I love about this hobby.
Scott McDaniel and George Perez are to me, the two essential and greatest Nightwing artists ever. While I do have a sketch cover with a Nightwing Skrull by Scott, it's so incredible to have a Spider-Man and Nightwing piece by him in my collection. This is what apparently passes for a convention sketch from Scott, and I couldn't be happier. Brian may be a little biased, but he's right when he said this was probably Scott's best of the weekend. Scott has such an energy in his pencils that sometimes you almost feel like you're going to run out of breath when you read his action scenes, and the only other artist I've ever felt that way with was John Romita Jr.
Definitely going to have to get this inked. Have a couple guys in mind, just indecisive.
