DescriptionSo, the story goes that after I received my commission from Scott McDaniel he attached a note mentioning how much fun he had working on it. He went on to say that he hasn't worked on Mr. Freeze in a long time, not since his work on an OnStar comic cover. My mind exploded, "WHAT?!??! He worked on Freeze before??!!?" I completely forgot about this book. I emailed him inquiring if he stil had the cover and if he was willing to part with it? He wasn't sure if he did but he would look. After some digging he was NOT able to find the final published piece but he did find this which was rejected and unfinished and he was willing to let me buy it!! WHHOOWW!!! A HUGE thanks goes out to Mr. McDaniel. As always, he was very patient and cool about me constantly emailing him about this piece. It has the best of homes.Social/Sharing |

I have to agree with Gal. I also like this one better. Mr. Freeze and Batman are RIGHT THERE, almost touchable!! The details are so amazing. A terrific piece and loved the story on how you were able to get it. :)

Alright, I'll also throw my hat into the ring for prefering this drama-filled version over the published original. I love the tight perspective on these two iconic adversaries as they grapple; great in-your-face action. McDaniel is well within his element in the Bat universe, and it's awesome that you managed to achieve such a momentous collecting milestone with this wonderful piece of art. Congrats, buddy!
