DescriptionGwendolyn Munro, Atomic Monster Hunter, is the grandmother of Krill Stromer of Mark's SubHuman. The woman is using the flamethrower, seen here in outline only, to fight giant ants. One can just make out the pincers of the closest ant here. This is a prelim for Pulp Formicidae which appears on page 20 of Mark Schultz Various Drawings Volume Five.I was very happy Mark Schultz could make it out to Big Wow ComicFest 2011 in San Jose, CA. My brother Stuart was sharing a booth with Mark's publisher John Fleskes of Flesk Publications. We watched John open up the boxes of the new Mark Schultz Various Drawings Volume Five and Al Williamson Archives Volume Two which made their debut at this event. Mark is writing the Prince Valiant Sunday strip and developing his Storms at Sea illustrated novella. Social/Sharing |
