And the winner is XS. Its a race after all and speed is what Jeni does best. This is her moment to shine.

Of course Mon-el and Supergirl are fast. Mon-el could even tap into the Lanterns powers but just maybe this time around both Kara and Mon-el subconscioulsly acknowledge that XS has given up a lot.

She left her teamates ( with the exception of Gates , who is such a ray of sunshine ) after the Legion of 3 Worlds to try and connect with family and wining this race helps her regain her confidence and feel like she belongs to the team and has something important to contribute.

Again I would like to thank Mike Netzer and Chris ivy for helping to bring this imaginary mini-series to life.

And in the tradition of the Flash / Superman races there is always the possibility of a rematch..

I have a very soft spot for her as a legacy character and I hope she is featured more often in the Legion by Paul Levitz. I have some great XS Kid Flash super-speed race pages by Ivan Reis from the Legion Titans Special a few years back and by George Perez from the Legion of Three Worlds mini-series. So maybe down the line I will have a Re-Legioned race between them the speeding cousins.
