DescriptionThis page belongs to The X-Men Claremont´s run collectionJohn Romita Jr, without having the status of his father or other post-classic authors, was during the 80's and 90's an author in demand by the major series, working almost exclusively for Marvel. His work on Iron Man and Spider-man gave him a deserved fame and cache until he exploded on Uncanny X-Men and later on Daredevil. His time in Uncanny X-Men, in one of the best mutants' stages will always be remembered, and this splash of Storm with Mohawk hair, seems to me a marvel of his time. That's great with Storm standing there in shadow. I also like the credits on the wall like graffiti. Nice subtle touch to the page that keeps it well balanced.

I can't believe I never saw this before. Such an iconic splash from the first JRJR run. I love the fact that the Jim Shooter graffiti is on the Garbage can lol. Oh the symbolism there, I wonder how that slipped by and if Jim was aware of it. Congrats on owning this one.

Amazing splash from a great run. In particular I love Dan Green's inks, who was as much repsonsible for the X-Men's "look and feel" in the '200s

Increible pagina, "casi" a la altura de la de Daredevil, en mi opinion

Striking splash! Love the silhouetted figure of Storm standing the alleyway. Leaves the reader to wonder--Who she's talking to? What's about to happen? Fantastic storytelling, IMHO.

Nadie dibujaba la Ororo punk como el Romita Jr de aquella época. Para mí, junto a la de Silvestri, la patrulla más "gamberra" y alternativa de todas las etapas de los x-men. Qué pasada! Enhorabuena 👏🏻
