Description

This is exactly what I have been searching for in terms of a Vess piece. I absolutely love the way mr Vess draw trees and woods, and nature itself as a whole. In this scene we have a great magic tree with lots of curly roots, some waterfall and a a faune or satyre in the middle of it. The perfect magic wood scene if you will. The delicacy of the pencil rendering enhances it and makes it perfect in my eyes :)

The overall mood of this piece is mind blowing to me. I adore fantasy pieces and this is quite beautiful. One of the best I've seen. Congratulations. :)

Charles Vess is an incredible talent and produces amazing work whether it is in pencil-only, pencil & ink, or painted. My personal favorite medium is pencil-only and this is a beautiful example!
