Description
One of my all time favorite Batman story especially it was draw and written by Mr Bolland. I love the expression of this "innocent guy" on this page. Originally published in the Batman black and white book in 1996. A classic tale, now I need a Killing Joke page :)

Great page from a terrifically creepy story. So... mundane and horrifying at the same time.

I remember seeing this page for sale a good while back for 400 dollars.Another one missed at the time through lack of funds.Congratulations on even getting a page from this story which I prefer to Killing Joke.

I absolutely love this page - and I'm glad it is in a great home - congrats!

I love how Mr. Bolland allows this character to become progressively demented, yet still plausible, in the span of six panels. I also find it interesting how in the first five panels this familiar looking fellow delivers the dialogue like either an onstage soliloquy (I am a villain: yet I lie. I am not…) or a YouTube rant (Leave Brittany alone!), and then, in the final panel, he bursts into "reality" making clear it is the latter.
