"Nara's Nightmare" by Matthew Kirscht

I commissioned Matthew to do this piece for me. I had been trying to come up with an idea that I thought would suit his style and came up with the perfect idea.


The idea was to have Nara having a reoccurring nightmare of how she had to take her friends life. At the end of the dream Hazy would be resurrected like Nara had been as if she too had been one of the chosen.


Those that read Dead@17 know that this would never happen because Hazy isn't one of the chosen but I thought it was a fun idea since I didn't really want to see Hazy leave the story. She is my favorite character after all.


The piece turned out exactly how I had imagined it would. I love Matthew's take on the characters. I love seeing how others interpret other artists characters. Needless to say I think Matthew did a fantastic job on the piece.
