I really loved this page on many levels...Jae Lee's art is gorgeous and Wiccan fist in the bully's hand, small as it is yet the image of it standing up to the larger fist of the bully is so powerful and riveting for me.

We have all been there at some point in our lives and many of us have had to stand up for ourselves. We all wished-- those of us who are comic geeks and gay--dreamt of using super powers (and having Scarlet Witch as your mother would not be bad either)!

I knew how it felt growing up in the South, Asian and Gay to be isolated and alone and it would have been comforting to click on the computer to find the video recordings of celebrities telling me "It gets better" or buy a comic that talks about the "Power Within" (I can't wait til it comes out--it was the talk of SDCC 2011). These tragic events should never happen and whatever we can do to help and support these kids in need....we should all be there for them!
