Description

Ray had previously tackled a Wolverine/DD commission piece for me in which he opted to experiment with some visual effects techniques in his artistic repertoire (http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=531132&GSub=49203). I, for one, thought that the result was rather compelling. However, in the endless pursuit of trying to hone his craft, Ray decided that he wanted to thematically revisit this duo in a new commission piece. This posting features the preliminary pencil layout of a battle royale between Daredevil and Wolverine as they try to stake claim to their ideological turf following DD's return to NYC. It certainly looks like you're off to a great start, Ray!

Off to a great start is an understatement! This looks to be one fine piece when finished! Give 'em hell, DD! This is awesome, the pencils are looking astonishing!

Love the concept! Almost looks like the buildings and their 'protective' gargoyles are coming in on the two as they fight. Excited to see any additions... not that it needs any.
