Darth Vader, by John Paul Leon

John Paul Leon's work makes very good use of shadows and darkness. I enjoyed his work on Challengers of the Unknown. Likewise, his pencils on Earth X brought Marvel's dystopian future to vivid reality. I thought he would be a good choice to draw a sinister, black-clad figure such as Vader. JPL seemed to enjoy working on this one. I could not help but refer to it as the "Darth Inkblot" sketch. It certainly has an air of menace about it that suits the character.
