Jeff Smith - Fone Bone and Ted

I brought my copy of the Bone: One Volume edition to the 2011 Baltimore Comic Con but didn't think I would have a chance to meet Jeff Smith. I walked by all day Saturday and his line was swamped, so no dice there. About halfway through Sunday, I saw Jeff was to sign again in like 45 minutes and there were only 5 or 6 people in line. We parked ourselves there and not too long later, I was in luck!

Jeff was a blast to chat with, even just for a minute or two. I told him I just read the story last year and he said that was a big contrast to the people who waited years to read it as it came out! We chatted a bit about the colored editions (which are beautiful) and he even drew a quick Fone Bone and Ted in my sketchbook. Jeff noted Ted was a favorite to draw at conventions!
