Description

This is my favorite vignette design from this series of covers--pure ERB fantasy! Impossibly beautiful Martian women warriors fighting atop a four armed ape, and Tarzan in trouble--but still heroic! Isn't it amazing how fantasy women always perfectly sling their hair into such beautiful shapes, no matter what kind of action they're engaged in? How do they do it !?! :)
This is watercolor and gouache on illustration board--the last cover of the four issues, and great fun to compose and paint.
