Usagi Yojimbo and the Beasts of Burden by Caanan Grall

This piece was originally drawn from the 42nd edition of the Comic Book Resources’ “The Line It Is Drawn” blog. The color version is in the extra image below. The theme for that week was team-up or mash-up with 2 or more Dark Horse characters. I loved the zen-like quality of this piece – Usagi has never looked so serene. The addition of Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson’s supernatural detectives just made this irresistible! (Fan Expo Canada, 08/2011)
