Description

this is from a story in "ghost" that unfolds from the twisted point of view of doctor october, one of the title's better-conceived villains. "doc oct" is trying to make her way toward ghost, who is the evil queen in this fantasy world. along the way, doctor october encounters various characters from the series. here she challenges X, another dark horse character who occupied the same city as Ghost. in this vision, X is grotesquely exaggerated. if it's difficult to tell what's going on from this scan, don't worry. it's difficult to tell what's going on in the inked page. the published page, with color, is easier to understand. anyway, the massively over-muscled X is swinging a scythe at doctor october. the "bad doctor" is at the lower right, looking toward X. the inks on this page and on the other page i own from the story (see my PANEL PAGES 2 gallery) are very nice, and inker jasen rodriguez signed the page in the lower corner. a lot of stark, solid blacks here; the other page has more, smaller detail. this piece measures 12x17.
