Pulp art recreation Kuttner Startling stories 2

recently bought a small lot of sci-fi illsutrations - msot were by Wesso for Hern yKuttners land breaking novel (an early alein tinkering with hsitory story) A million years to Conquer that appeared i nthe november 1940 startling
As was the norm at Better publiications (not sure if mort weisinger was the editor at thsi time he editoed startling and wonder at one point before going to DC in the early 1940's) the major characters i nthe novels had portraits in the magazine. For thsi story 4 of the protraits orugianlly don by Wesso were no longer available so a prior owner (possibily Forry Ackerman) had the mrecreated by a professional artist . These are those pieces. Not sure when they were done or by whom- they are ver ygood copeis as i have scans of Ardath and Marion fro mthe magazine- they are ink on board 5 by 7 inches
