NYCC 2011 : Here we go ! From the first time that I saw this cover by Finch, it was my all time favorite of his. So with the approaching NYCC , I commissioned Anthony Castrillo to do the layouts ( great job !! ) of this cover with characters that I wanted to be included ( Wolverine and Daredevil ). I had Doc Sampson and Black Panther removed. Then the plan was to get David to do the centerpiece ( Hulk ) on Friday night and I would get other artists to fill in the other characters. Meredith and David agreed to have the Hulk ready for me on Saturday, as he would do it overnight in his hotel room.

Saturday arrives and my jaw hits the floor when I saw Meredith pull this out of Dave's portfolio. Now I change my mind and decide to have only David finish all the characters. He was kind enough to do Wolverine, Daredevil and Mister Fantastic for me on Saturday, at three different times. He will complete the remaining three characters ( Spiderman, Sue Richards and She Hulk ) over the next year at various conventions. It was really great talking with David and Meredith at the con as well as the collectors on David's line. Who knows, I might even add another character coming in from the top left corner above the Hulk's fist. I will never be able to afford the original cover, but I just LOVE this version even more. Thanks Anthony, Meredith and David !!!!

I check out the Hulk vs Wolverine and really dig it, then I see this and was blown away. Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing this completed.
