Description

I loved the cover of Raggedy Ann and Andy No. 27 and asked Greg Kirkpatrick to recreate it as a Super-Pets cover. In my version, the little dog idolizes the Legion of Super-Pets. His cat/mother sews the Superman symbol on his shorts so that he can honor them and pretend to be one of them.

The pets in the margin are Krypo, Beppo (Greg is clearly meant to draw primates), Streaky, Comet, Proty as a bear(CHECK OUT HIS WINK), Rex the Wonder Dog, and Dex-Starr (before his red rebirth).
