DescriptionI've always been a fan of Philip's watercolor commissions, and when I knew I would only be able to make it to NYCC 2011 on Sunday due to my work schedule I knew I should set this up before the show started. I didn't give him any direction for this piece, I just asked him for Dark Phoenix, and he painted exactly what I was hoping for with a fiery Phoenix Force background. I knew his take on this character would be amazing, but I was speechless when I saw this in person. Special thanks to Kirk for setting this up.11 x 17 Social/Sharing |

IMO..I think this is Phillip's best watercolor piece so far..this is Incredible,and it looks even better in person..Big Congrat's Matt !!!
