Description

During "Dark Reign", Norman Osborn had replaced S.H.I.E.L.D. with H.A.M.M.E.R. and created his own version of the Avengers. These included Daken in the role and name of Wolverine. Naturally, Osborn wanted to keep the reputation of his team pristine. However, in this page, video had surfaced of Daken killing his opponents in front of an old woman and her grandson. This page was inked by Cam Smith over Stephen Segovia's pencils. When the work is this beautiful, it is easy to overcome my reluctance to collect pages created in this way. (New York Comic Con, 2011/10)
