Steel Sterling by Gary Martin: Dynamo 2 Reinterperted

Gary chose Dynamo #2. The uniforms have a resemblance to each other and Gary hit this one out of the park. I also asked Gary to replace the Dynamo logo with one of the two Steel Sterling’s logos used by Mighty in the 60s, which he happily did.

One other note I used the 60s, Paul Reinman interpretation of Steel Sterling as the reference for the commission which differs slightly from his 40s incarnation.

Here in Gary's words is how he approached the challenge of this commission. "It’s tough reinterpreting Wood. There’s so many great things he does that I want to copy. And a bunch of my inking techniques comes from him anyway. I guess that’s why he was so brilliant."
