Ok, so from the unpublished cover that Andy inked for me to this commission that I have been dying to see pop. Andy and his wife just had a baby a few months ago along with his crazy work schedule and I'm still really impressed that he took on both of my commission requests. They are truly cover quality. When he finally sent me the images of his finished work you can tell my excitement and his appreciation by the emails posted below...

It's times like these that make it difficult to express via email how excited I am and how much I appreciate the work that went into these. They are everything that I hoped for and more. The best way to describe them, perfect. Thanks again. I'll be posting them on CAF soon. Once I can save up enough money, I'll frame them with the original penciled pieces and send you photos. I love McDaniel's pencils and between the two, the non inked is my favourite BUT the inked piece is outstanding, too. I realize I sound contradictory but I feel like I'm looking at two very different pieces. The pencil piece has a raw depth to it that I love very much while the inked version is more deliberate in it's intensity. I realize that this posting is about the inked version and it is truly amazing.. I just wanted to mention the gorgeous pencils as well.

Dude... I love your collection and reading your stories/descriptions is an added bonus. I really like reading the excitement in fellow collector's galleries. Makes it much more fun than the ones without. This and the Michael Golden card art are faves of mine of yours. Thanx for posting up.
