Barron Storey, Georg Solti

This is a unique etching plate that Barron Storey did in the late 70s/early 80s for London Records. It was used only once to produce an album cover for the conductor Georg Solti.

It was done during the period when Barron Storey lived at Kips Bay. He was trying to learn etching and experimenting with aluminum plates (no acids, just scratch through a protective coating on the plate, put it in water with some powdered solution...)


The plate imensions are 11 1/4 by 12 1/2".
