Description

I've begun something that has taken a lot of stones. I'm attempting to paint the new version of the Man of Steel in Watercolor. This is an 11 x 14 piece of hot press watercolor paper and hb pencil breakdowns. As you can tell by the background I'm illustrating the public's general distrust of this insurgence of superhumans by showing a Times Square-esque electronic billboard with multiple news stories on the new 52's, This is kind of an homage to that infamous Jim Lee cover, only my Supes is facing left instead of right and in the Action Comics #1 costume which is starting to grow on me a little. The figure is also photo referenced from a personal shot. Yup those boots are mine but not the face lol.
