Description

This is a piece that I purchased from my friend and fellow artist David Burton, who unfortunately lost his life to illness on Thursday December 8, 2011. I feel that this is one of his best pencil sketches, for it's a variation on the infamous Teri Hatcher photo that made her one of the most downloadable women on the internet back in the mid 90s. For his, David decided to use Erica Durance from Smallville and have her standing. The tones on the cape and on the hair are amazing and the fact she's standing as opposed to laying down - and the cape is concealing her figure as opposed to outlining it - leave much to the imagination. David, you will be missed.
