Awesome artwork !! I believe that this was actually pencilled by Adam Kubert though. The final paints were by the Hildebrandts over a blue line copy of Adam's pencils.

Absolutely correct, David.  Adam pencilled the cover and sent a copy to the Hildebrandt Bros. to paint.  He opted out of having it inked because he wanted all of his details to come out.  He thought it would lose some details if it were inked by someone else.  The piece shown here in this gallery is a print.  I purchased the entire book from Adam Kubert directly last year.  He ended up buying all of his pages back from his inkers because he loved the book so much.  My opinion, it's his Magnum Opus.
