Description

Which gets us up to June and the height of the convention season. I had already attended a few local conventions, and had skipped out on Megacon (ok but not worth the drive or hassle). Heroes Con however, is another story. A short flight from my hometown makes it a day trip if needed. This is also what I call the "pure" comic art convention. Comic-con is a media event, Dargon con is a drunken costume party, but Heroes Con is pure comics with no lines and no fuss. This is one of the gems I purchases this year for a pittance from Jim Rugg. Turns out the penciller for this page was just two booth' down, so I asked here to sign it as well. Somethinhg about this pages (besides the price), just caught my eye. With those big ol' eyes, it has a little of a manga feel...
