This is the first lightwash of the costume. I decided to blend Vermillion with a little French Ultramarine Blue. I left the flesh parts and lightning features blank deliberately; the smudging and blur effect will come later once the character's been fully rendered. I am also considering a grayscale with water soluble pencils. More on that - and further progress on this project - as the week will progress.
