Your ability is apparent, you're an artist. However, this drawing lacks an distinctiveness or appeal. The female figure used is way to generic and unappealing. It could have just as easily been a big red "S" that was slapped on her chest and she’d be "Super girl". There was almost no attention paid to detail on this sketch. If the emblem wasn't there, I'd have no idea that this was phoenix... and even so it still isn't. If you're serious about your art, keep practicing. Pay more attention to detail. You might be able to get away with generic looking characters for a little while, but sooner or later it's going to turn around an nip you in the buns. People want variety and appeal. Give the people what they want and more.
