Description
This is a really cool cover by DC's premier cover artist of the 80's Eduardo Barreto, but for some reason it was not used, even though it has all of the production notes on the back of it from DC Comics as being published! It even has a job # of S-4508.

Great Krypton--what an awesome cover! This is beautiful, but there's no room for the Action Comics/Superman Logo! IMHO this is probably why this cover wasn't used.
