DescriptionSculptor/illustrator Lawrence Noble, known for many of his bronze creations and movie art, most notably the iconic life-sized Yoda bronze sculpture (Yoda Fountain) at Lucasfilm's Presidio campus and The Empire Strikes Back 10th Anniversary one-sheet poster, revisited his favorite Star Wars film with this painting in 2010. The "Empire Revisited" painting was made into limited edition fine art lithographs by ACME Archives. Acrylic paint is the usual choice for Lawrence's illustrations, but he decided to use oil for this piece. It is on thick 20" X 32" illustration board.Social/Sharing |
