Description

Jack Kirby and Frank Giacoia: Captain America #209 Arnim Zola Page 6 Original Art (Marvel, 1977). The Star-Spangled Avenger fights the good fight in nearly every panel of these action-packed scenes from the thriller, "Arnim Zola the Bio-Fanatic." Frank Giacoia ranks among the best of Jack Kirby's many inkers, and his silky smooth brush strokes were perfect for the Bronze Age Captain America stories. Image area of 10" x 15". Signed by Kirby in the fourth panel.
On the back of the page I noticed a Kirby stamp I had never seen before. Can anybody shed a light on this?

Provenance: Heritage Signature Auction 2012.

Very nice pick-up, Lars! I got to see this in person and thought about making a play for it before it went to Heritage. Love the Arnim Zola and Donna Maria action! Big congrats!
